Hunting on state ground: Hunters in Northern Finland may hunt after paying the game management fee in their own municipality in areas managed by Metsähallitus. Metsähallitus always first estimates how extensive hunting by the municipality residents is before deciding on selling hunting licences to hunters who are residents of other municipalities. If necessary, licences for state-owned land can be purchased from the Eräluvat service.

You can obtain a hunting licence for the Collective Forest area from the Varuste.net site.

Information on the guest licences of Kemijärvi hunting association is available on their respective sites.

The hunting seasons and limitations are presented on the Riista.fi site.

The Peltojärvi shooting area usage fees, contact person for booking and information on shooting test days are available on the  Kemijärven rhy site.
